Change the Service credentials

You can specify a different Windows account or SQL login for the SQLdm Mobile & Newsfeed Service to use when connecting to the Repository database. Ensure the account or login meets the permissions requirements.

To specify new SQLdm Mobile & Newsfeed Service credentials:

1. Start the Idera Newsfeed Platform Manager console.
2. Click the Repository tab.
3. Under Connection, input these settings:
   • Choose the type of authentication
   • Specify the user name (for a Windows account, type domain\username)
   • Specify the password
4. Click Save.
